The Bernina Red Train Adventure
For all lovers of mountains and breathtaking landscapes.

The Bernina Red Train
Many of you ask me for personal travel advice, and I often tell you about my personal experiences. So I decided to create a rubric in which I will talk precisely about places and destinations that I am lucky to visit.
– Vittoria, Staff Frigerio Viaggi –
A mountain lover, at least once in his life, has heard of the famous Bernina Red Train. Having never been there and being an extremely curious person, I decided to embark on this adventure!
I did this experience in november, fully enjoying the winter landscape and I was lucky enough to find a beautiful snowfall. I can tell you, however, that it is a a beautiful trip to do in every season: with the brilliant colors of spring, the blue skies of summer, or admiring the foliage of autumn.

DEPARTURE
The bus arrived, as planned, early in the morning. Once all the passengers had boarded, we set off for the Saint Moritz, the first stop on our way to the Bernina Red Train.
Despite the sleep and the decidedly comfortable seats, I resisted surrendering to Morpheus' embrace to hear our bravissima guida Monica, who since Lecco began to give us interesting information about the area we were passing through
Arrived in Sondrio we took a break, just long enough to refresh ourselves and see it start snowing!
As soon as we passed the Swiss customs, the climb to the country of theAlta Engadina has started (not easy for a bus, but made so by our super driver Antonio), with the view gradually becoming more and more mountainous and, given the season, Christmassy!

SAINT MORITZ
We arrived in Saint Moritz around 11 o 'clock and had some free time to visit the city and its stores: I highly recommend the panoramic viewpoint overlooking the lake, the central square and its peculiar buildings, and, for those inclined to culinary experiences, the sweet and chocolate stores.

THE BERNINA RED TRAIN
At 3 p.m. on the dot (we are in Switzerland, let's not forget) the famous Bernina Red Train left with its panoramic carriages. The journey to Tirano lasted about 2 hours, passing through almost surreal landscapes and stopping at some stations such as Ospizio Bernina (the highest point at about 2,250 meters above sea level), Cavaglia and Poschiavo.
Throughout the tour our guide continued to enrich the experience with eally interesting stories and anecdotes,, which of course I am careful not to spoil for you 😉.
I can only say that for the ones who love nature, this trip is like godsend, both for the colors and the atmosphere and landscapes that you are lucky enough to see!
When we arrived in Tirano, Antonio and our bus were there ready and waiting for us! Once seated, I had time to close my eyes for a second and enjoy the beautiful experience, now in its final moments.
Every day the colors there surrounds e ci affect, arouse in us sentiments and emotions and even more importantly reflect one of our particular state of mind.
We wanted to playing with colors and the many destinations around the world to entertain you and take you on a "colorful journey," which will introduce you to the most suitable destination for Your next trip.
